Thanks to its resistance to cracking and high hardness of 50HRC, Hardox has found its application in agriculture. A good chisel is essential for plowing. The tip digs into the ground and, like a knife cutting through butter, transfers the hard soil to the next part of the plow—the moldboard. Its task is to cut the furrow with its blade, separating it from the soil. The molding board and plow beam are responsible for turning the furrow. A new development is cultivation using a chisel plow, grubber, subsoiler, and cultivator. For hundreds of years, plow designs have been improved by leaders such as LEMKEN, Kuhn, OVERUM, and the Norwegian company KVERNELAND.
